Wedding Photographer Rome — Personal Travel Journal

Italy is a truly special country, and being a wedding photographer in Rome is a great honour. Elegant cities full of historical architecture dot this country — buildings with a glorious history and stunning details.

A trip to Rome

One of our couples, Claire and Nuwan, recently married at the stunning Santa Caterina Hotel in Amalfi. This gave us an excuse for a little break from the norm — a chance to explore and travel. It's a rare treat in the hectic, whirlwind lives of destination wedding photographers.

The City of Rome

We visited the City of Rome — a truly stunning part of the world. Rome was our first port of call, where we walked the old streets and watched the world go by, taking a trip around the edge of Vatican City. Simply stunning in every respect.

People basked in the warm winter sunshine and ate exquisite Italian delights. Old cobbled streets oozed with character and elegance — from quirky little wine shops to souvenirs and trinket stalls. Its beauty spoke a thousand words.

Through ancient Rome

We hiked through the city. Amazing churches with highly decorated ceilings, plazas full of crowds eating gelato — you could feel the history of the place. A magical destination we will soon revisit.
