Helen and Ali — Windsor Guildhall, UK
Some of the weddings we shoot stand out for reasons you don't fully understand until you photograph them. Helen and Ali's Windsor Guildhall ceremony and garden reception is one of those weddings.

A return to Windsor
We are very lucky that we get to travel to so many far-flung destinations, but we love it when a wedding calls us back to the United Kingdom — especially when it's in the town where our photographic careers began many moons ago. Windsor is a lovely royal town with a rich heritage and royal connections. There's a castle on a hill where a queen lives, and a prince married here not so long ago.
The bride and groom
Helen got ready at the stunning Castle Hotel on the High Street with her mum and her friends. As they got ready there was lots of fun and Prosecco. Her wedding dress was simply beautiful — an elegant vintage-styled lace number with full sleeves and an open back. She carried a bouquet of beautiful peonies and white gypsophila.
Ali got ready at The Country House Hotel. He wore vivid tartan trousers and waistcoat with a blue jacket over the top. His beard was styled and he looked very dapper and stylish — nice to see something a little different to a plain suit.

The ceremony at the Guildhall
The ceremony was held at the famous Guildhall in the main high street — Prince Charles and Camilla also married here, so Helen and Ali were in good company. It was a lovely ceremony with vows and rings exchanged in an opulent room, family and friends witnessing their perfect "I do" moment.
The garden marquee reception
The reception was held at Helen's parents' house, a gorgeous property with amazing grounds full of trees and greenery. A marquee had been set up, glittering with fairy lights and bulbs suspended in trees and branches — a magical setting. There were rattan hearts hanging from trees, mason jars with wonderful coloured cocktails and tables named after royalty. The wedding cake was set up as individual cakes on rustic cut wood. Transport back to the venue was two amazing old London buses.
We took the couple for a private shoot together and made use of a beautiful swing hanging in the garden — the most romantic setting, with some beautiful, stylish shots.

The reception was great fun and full of laughter, especially the speeches. Once everyone had eaten, the first dance began under the marquee and the pretty lights, and then it was party, party, party.
This was a wonderful day and we at Beziique wish Helen and Ali the very best for their future together.
