Livernano Estate Wedding Photography, Tuscany

Livernano Estate is one of those rare Italian venues that gives UK couples an entire restored hamlet to themselves — a working Chianti wine estate folded into the hills outside Radda, where the wedding is built around long tables, the estate's own wine and the slow rhythm of a Tuscan day. We are Nick and Aimie Wild, award-winning destination wedding photographers with more than fifteen years and over a thousand weddings behind us, and we travel from our base in Cyprus to photograph couples across Tuscany in a relaxed, documentary style. If you are planning a vineyard-and-village celebration in the Chianti countryside, you can see how we work across our wider portfolio and explore more of our favourite wedding venues abroad.

About the venue

Livernano is a working wine estate set in the Chianti hills outside Radda, in the heart of Tuscany. The estate produces some of the region's most highly-regarded wines and rents the medieval borgo at its centre exclusively for weddings during the season.

The borgo is essentially a small restored hamlet — stone houses, courtyards, a chapel, and a long terrace overlooking the vineyards. Ceremonies happen in the gardens or chapel, the wedding dinner sets up under the trees with the estate's own wines pouring all night, and the whole celebration unspools over multiple days.

Why we love Livernano Estate

The food and wine here are the experience. Most venues use catering as a deliverable; at Livernano it's at the centre of the wedding, with multi-course Italian dinners that go on for hours.

We photographed Jessica and Dan's wedding here — a properly foodie Tuscan celebration that gave us one of our richest Italy galleries to date.

Our approach to destination wedding photography

At Beziique we believe great wedding photography goes far beyond technical skill. It is about creating unforgettable experiences and timeless, beautiful pieces of art that capture every moment of your day.

If you love the idea of a multi-day Italian estate wedding but are weighing up other parts of Europe, it is worth looking at some of our other vineyard and château venues too — couples drawn to Livernano often also fall for Château Rigaud and Château de la Basmaignée in France, where the same unhurried, food-and-wine-led spirit runs through the day.

  • How soon will we get our wedding photos?

You'll receive a set of sneak-peek images within the first days after your wedding, so you have something beautiful to share while the memories are fresh. Your full, hand-edited gallery is then delivered in approximately 6–10 weeks. Every image is individually edited in our signature documentary style — we never cut corners on the part that lasts a lifetime.

  • Do you travel to Italy for weddings?

Yes — we photograph weddings across Italy and travel regularly to Tuscany, including estates like Livernano in the Chianti hills. Although we are based in Cyprus, destination work is at the heart of what we do, and we have photographed couples throughout Italy, France, Ibiza and the UK. Travel and accommodation are simply built into your quote, with no surprises, so you can plan your day knowing exactly what is included. Just tell us your dates and venue when you get in touch and we'll let you know our availability.

  • What's your photography style?

Our style is documentary and emotional — we tell the real story of your day rather than staging it. That means candid moments, genuine laughter and the quiet in-between glances, alongside a handful of beautifully composed portraits in the landscape. Over fifteen-plus years and more than a thousand weddings we have honed an unobtrusive approach that lets a multi-day Tuscan celebration unfold naturally, and we were named among the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World in 2018. You can see how that looks across a full day in our portfolio.

  • What makes Livernano special?

Livernano is a working Chianti wine estate built around a restored medieval hamlet, or borgo — stone houses, courtyards, a chapel and a long terrace looking out over the rolling vineyards. It is rented exclusively for weddings during the season, so you and your guests have the whole place to yourselves over several days. What sets it apart is the food and wine: the estate produces some of the region's most respected wines, and the long, multi-course Italian dinners are the centrepiece of the celebration rather than an afterthought, all set among the vines in the heart of Tuscany.
