Healey Barn Wedding Photography
Healey Barn is one of Northumberland's most loved rustic wedding venues — a converted stone barn set deep in the Tyne Valley, where exposed beams, tall stone walls and sweeping countryside views give a wedding day its own quiet, unhurried character. As award-winning UK and destination photographers, we shoot Healey Barn the way we shoot every wedding: documentary in style, led by real moments, and built around the feeling of the day rather than a list of poses. If you're planning a Healey Barn wedding, this page shows how we work and what makes this corner of Northumberland so special to photograph. You can also browse more of our venues on our list of UK and Cyprus wedding venues.
About the venue
Healey Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn set deep in the Tyne Valley in Northumberland. Exclusive-use for the wedding weekend, the barn opens out onto rolling Northumberland countryside — the kind of view you'd put on a postcard.
The space is one big open beam-and-stone room that flexes from ceremony to reception, with a courtyard for drinks and a fire pit for the late hours. There are no other events sharing the venue, so the day belongs entirely to the couple.

Why we love Healey Barn
The light through those tall stone walls is the photography draw. Morning prep, ceremony, speeches, dancing — the barn handles every part of the day with its own character, and the surrounding fields give us as much portrait space as we could ever want.
We photographed Sonny and Jo's wedding here and it remains one of our favourite UK galleries.

Our approach to UK wedding photography
At Beziique we believe great wedding photography goes far beyond technical skill. It is about creating unforgettable experiences and timeless, beautiful pieces of art that capture every moment of your day — you can read more about how we work in our wedding photography guide.
A rustic barn like Healey suits our documentary style perfectly. We stay close to the action and let the day unfold — the nervous laughter during prep, the long hug after the ceremony, the speeches that catch everyone off guard — and we use the courtyard, the fields and the late golden light for relaxed portraits that never feel staged. If you love the look of Healey Barn, you'll find the same honest, emotional approach in our work at other country venues such as Wasing Park and Wotton House, and across our full portfolio.

Get in touch
No matter where you are in the world, we would love to hear from you soon. If you'd like to talk through your Healey Barn wedding, you can see more of our work in the portfolio or get in touch with us directly — we'd love to hear about your plans for the Tyne Valley.

How soon will we get our wedding photos?
You'll receive a set of sneak-peek images within the first days after your wedding, so you have something beautiful to share while the memories are fresh. Your full, hand-edited gallery is then delivered in approximately 6–10 weeks. Every image is individually edited in our signature documentary style — we never cut corners on the part that lasts a lifetime.
Do you travel to the UK for weddings?
Yes. Although we're based between Cyprus and Ibiza, we photograph weddings across the UK every year and Northumberland is one of our favourite places to shoot. Travel for UK weddings like Healey Barn is straightforward to arrange, and we'll always confirm any travel details clearly when you enquire. Wherever your wedding is in the country, you get the same two photographers and the same documentary approach you see throughout our portfolio.
What's your photography style?
Our style is documentary and emotional — we tell the story of your day as it actually happens rather than directing it. We stay unobtrusive through the moments that matter, from morning prep to the last dance, and capture the real laughter, tears and quiet in-between moments. The only part we gently guide is your couple portraits, where we find beautiful light and let you simply be together, which at Healey Barn means the courtyard, the fire pit and the rolling fields beyond the barn.
What makes Healey Barn special?
Healey Barn is a rustic converted stone barn set deep in the Tyne Valley, and its big draw is the combination of characterful stone-and-beam interiors with uninterrupted Northumberland countryside views. It's exclusive-use for the wedding weekend, so the whole place belongs to you, and the surrounding fields give us endless space for relaxed portraits. The light through those tall stone walls, the open courtyard and the late golden hour over the hills all make it a genuinely beautiful venue to photograph.
