Stephanie & Jamie's Opulent Greek Landmark Hotel London Wedding
Having flown to the tropical shores of Thailand, groom Jamie knew it was the perfect time to propose. "Jamie arranged a three-course dinner on the beach for us," Stephanie reminisces. "It was so romantic."

Proposal by the sea
London calling
"We decided to get married in London because most of our family and friends live here. Jamie is Catholic, so that was why we chose St Joseph's Church for the ceremony. It is close to home and beautiful." After making their vows, the couple and their 300 guests continued to the Landmark Hotel London for the reception.
"We chose this venue because of its style and character. It is classic and ornate. The ballroom was also one of the few in London that could hold a wedding party of our size."
"Stephanie and Jamie knew this venue was the one when they got butterflies in their tummies as they walked into the ballroom," adds planner Nicola at Alexson Entertainment. "They wanted to create the perfect day in the perfect setting — we definitely achieved that."

Choosing their London Greek wedding photographer
"Beziique were recommended to us by a family member. We had a look at their website and really loved their work. Nick and Aimie were so lovely and friendly since the first day we got in contact with them. They made us feel even more excited for the wedding and made us feel at ease. On the day, they were incredible — so bubbly and warm, they made us feel so comfortable. We were so happy with all the shots they took."
Aisle style
Bride Stephanie looked sensational in a contemporary Sassi Holford wedding dress. "It had a strapless bodycon silhouette with buttons running down the back, with a dramatic fishtail and long train. I added a beautiful belt around the waist for extra sparkle and wore a fitted jacket to the church. It was made with the same fabric, so it looked like part of the dress."
Jamie wore a three-piece bespoke morning suit by Cad & The Dandy. A burgundy tie added a pop of opulent colour to his traditional attire.

Glamorous in green
Stephanie asked six of her closest friends to be her bridesmaids and maids of honour. "My bridesmaids wore a gorgeous deep green silk dress by Ghost and the maids of honour wore a silver silk gown by Outline London." Jamie's ushers and best man wore traditional morning suits with deep green ties.
A multicultural ceremony
"I am Greek Orthodox Christian and Jamie is Catholic, so we wanted to have a hybrid ceremony. We were privileged to have a Greek Orthodox priest attend and give a short ceremony after the Catholic one. A beautiful choir and organist played for us. I loved walking down the aisle with my dad to Pachelbel's Canon in D, seeing Jamie waiting for me."
Midwinter magic
"We got married two weeks before Christmas, so we had a winter-themed wedding filled with deep reds, greens and gold," says the bride. Towering gold candelabra added a sculptural statement across the enormous ballroom, romantically lit with glamorous up-lighting. "We had a row of Christmas trees behind the top table as our backdrop and a tree in each corner of the ballroom too. The table centres were filled with roses, berries, pomegranates and pine cones."

Time to party
"We booked the incredible seven-piece Function Band. They sang all our favourite music — RnB, hip hop, Motown — walked round the tables and really got the guests involved. We also had DJ Funksy and violinist Pedro who played the best Greek music. They performed a traditional Greek wedding entrance when we first walked into the ballroom."
"The photo of us dancing in the middle of our guests is one of my favourites. I love how Nick and Aimie captured every moment with everyone surrounding us."
"The band and DJ really made the day," adds planner Nicola. "The music was fabulous and the band had guests on their chairs dancing before even sitting down to eat."
The perfect Christmas gift
"We received our photos on Christmas Day, which was a great surprise. The photos Nick and Aimie captured were beautiful and told the story of our day. We could not have asked for more."
