Emmee & Danny — Ayii Anargyri, Cyprus
The Hotel Ayii Anargyri is a boutique hotel full of wonderful Cypriot charm. Hidden away in the pretty wooded Miliou Valley, the only thing you may hear in the peace and quiet is the occasional song of the delightful nightingale. With its traditional Cypriot architecture — a blended mix of wood timbers and native Cyprus stone — it sits perfectly in its rural setting. It is the perfect venue for a romantic wedding.
Romance and wedding vows in the Miliou Valley
Getting ready
Emmee got ready with her bridesmaids in a cool, shady room within the complex, with hair and makeup by a small team of stylists. Emmee wore her blond hair swept up in an elegant updo and held in place with a stunning beaded headdress. Her dress was so pretty — a floaty fabric skirt and beaded bodice. She really did look like the Princess Bride.
The ceremony
Danny looked amazingly dapper in his blue suit and pink tie. Emmee walked down the steps from where she got ready on her father's arm and met Danny through fig trees and rosemary shrubs.
The ceremony began in front of all their family and friends. Rings and vows were exchanged under the blue Cyprus sky. The trees were decorated with crystal balls and pink roses — a romantic feel carried through to the wedding breakfast, a gorgeous rustic theme that suited the venue perfectly.
Bride and groom portraits
We then stole the couple away to shoot their bride and groom portraits with the classic car that had been hired for the day.
The whole day was just so amazing, and such an honour to be their destination wedding photographers. Thank you so much for having us along to capture your very special day — we really hope you love your photos as much as we loved your day.
