Our personal favourites

Aimie and I absolutely love what we do. Pulling together this final blog of the best bits of 2017 has been incredible. It is crazy to look back on a year where we have achieved so much and left the past behind. It is also about the future and travelling the world. After taking nearly 100,000 images over the year, it's great to look back and remember all the fun, love, laughter and emotions. It really makes us smile and feel proud. There are always a few tears too — that's normal, because we love what we do so much we never want it to end.

This year saw us move away from my old company Nick Wild Photography to become solely Beziique. It's been a huge learning curve — finally getting our Google rankings back and taking our SEO in the right direction.

Travel

This year took us back to Ibiza (our second home after Cyprus), the UK, Italy, Santorini, France and Scotland. We feel extremely lucky that people choose Beziique to capture their stories all over the world. We love to travel and see all these amazing locations — we take it in our stride now, and taking a 20-hour trip is like going 30 minutes down the road. It's been a fun year with airports, flights, hire car companies, trains and of course our good old feet, all to arrive at a destination wedding in good time and shape, ready to document and tell a story through our eyes.

All this could not have been done so smoothly without Carolyne in the UK, offering first-class support to all our couples and keeping the boat afloat. We thank you and wish you a great festive period with your loved ones.

To the future

We have been lucky enough to be featured in many printed and online wedding magazines, but our biggest achievement is to now be listed on White Ibiza as a recommended photographer for Ibiza. It has been a crazy, cool year.

It's only made this way, and feels so special, because so many of you welcome us into your worlds and trust us to capture the magic of your special wedding days. Aimie and I just want to say a huge thank you for letting us be part of it and allowing us to document your days.

We are blessed to be destination wedding photographers and soon to be husband and wife. It's incredibly moving that couples trust us and put their faith in us totally, and on the day let us just do our thing. We want to be the best destination wedding photographers Ibiza, Cyprus and the world have ever seen. Every day we learn and push boundaries, and this will never stop. Our best wedding photographs are yet to come.

2017, you have been fantastic. 2018, you better watch out — we're ready.
