Annabelle Hotel Wedding Photography, Paphos

The Annabelle is one of the most graceful five-star hotels in Paphos — a tranquil retreat of lush gardens, lily ponds and palm-shaded terraces set right beside the harbour, with the turquoise Mediterranean as its backdrop. It is the kind of setting UK couples picture when they imagine an elegant, unhurried Cyprus wedding: timeless, intimate and softly luxurious. Beziique have photographed weddings across Paphos and the wider island for more than fifteen years, and the Annabelle is a venue we would love to photograph for you. If you are planning your day here, we would be delighted to hear from you.

About Annabelle Hotel

The Annabelle sits in the heart of Paphos, a few minutes' stroll from the old harbour and the seafront promenade, yet feels like a private garden hideaway the moment you step inside. Mature subtropical planting, water features and quiet courtyards give the hotel a sense of seclusion that is rare so close to the centre of town, and the landscaped grounds open onto a shaded beachside terrace with uninterrupted views over the sea. It is a setting that flatters every part of a wedding day, from a relaxed morning of getting ready to a candlelit dinner under the palms.

As a five-star property with a long-established reputation, the Annabelle is well practised at hosting weddings and can tailor the celebration to your numbers and your style. Ceremonies can be arranged on the terrace overlooking the beach, with the hotel's team styling the space to suit your taste and budget, and the kitchens are widely admired — the food is genuinely a highlight rather than an afterthought. Generous suites give plenty of comfortable room for the morning preparations, and the standard of service throughout is what you would expect of a hotel of this calibre.

For UK couples, the Annabelle offers a reassuring blend of polish and warmth: a venue grand enough to feel like an occasion, yet personal enough that the day still feels like yours. Whether you are planning an intimate elopement or a celebration with family and friends, the gardens, terrace and sea views give you a backdrop that needs very little dressing up to look extraordinary.

A wedding setting we'd love to photograph

We have not yet photographed a wedding at the Annabelle, but it is exactly the sort of venue our documentary style was made for — and we would love to be the photographers who capture your day here. The interplay of soft garden light, dappled shade beneath the palms and the open brightness of the seafront terrace gives a photographer an enormous amount to work with, from the quiet, emotional moments of the morning to the golden glow of a late-afternoon ceremony.

Our approach is unobtrusive and led by feeling. We document the day as it unfolds — the nervous laughter while you are getting ready, a parent's tear during the vows, the way the light falls across the gardens at dusk — rather than choreographing it. At a venue as photogenic as the Annabelle, that means we can let the surroundings do their work while we concentrate on the people and the emotion. A short walk to the harbour or the seafront also opens up wonderful options for relaxed couple portraits in the early evening, away from the bustle of the celebration.

If you would like a sense of how we tell a wedding story, our portfolio shows the emotional, natural style we bring to every booking. We would be genuinely thrilled to bring that same eye to your wedding at the Annabelle, so please do get in touch to talk through your plans — we love hearing how couples imagine their day, and we would be honoured to be part of yours.

Getting married in Paphos

Paphos is one of the most popular bases for UK couples marrying in Cyprus, and it is easy to see why. The town combines a relaxed seafront and ancient harbour with a beautiful stretch of coastline, plenty of accommodation for guests of every budget, and a short transfer from Paphos (PFO) airport. Our guide to getting married in Paphos covers the area in detail, and if you are weighing up your options as a couple based in the UK, our complete guide for UK couples walks through the legal steps, timing and costs from start to finish. It is also worth reading up on the best time of year to marry in Cyprus so you can plan around the soft light the Annabelle's gardens are made for, and our Cyprus wedding cost guide helps you budget with confidence.

The Annabelle sits comfortably among the region's most refined wedding settings. If you are still choosing, you may find it helpful to browse our overview of luxury Cyprus wedding venues to compare it with other five-star options across the island, including nearby Paphos favourites such as the Almyra Hotel on the seafront and the clifftop Elysium. And wherever your search takes you, having an experienced Paphos wedding photographer who knows the light, the venues and the rhythm of a Cyprus wedding day will make a real difference to how your memories are captured.

  • Can we have our ceremony on the beach or at our villa?

Yes. A symbolic ceremony or blessing can be held anywhere you like — a beach, a garden, a clifftop, a private villa or a vineyard — because it isn't tied to the legal paperwork. If you want your actual legal wedding outdoors, many licensed venues can host the civil ceremony too; your planner will confirm what's possible at your chosen spot. Either way, Cyprus's beaches and landscapes make a breathtaking backdrop.

  • When is the best time of year to get married in Cyprus?

The most popular months are May–June and September–October, when temperatures sit around a comfortable 20–26°C and the light is soft and golden — ideal for photography. July and August are the hottest (often 32°C and above), so we recommend later-afternoon and sunset ceremonies in high summer. The shoulder seasons give the best light, while winter is the cheapest and quietest time to marry in Cyprus if you want an intimate, low-cost celebration.

  • How soon will we get our wedding photos?

You'll receive a set of sneak-peek images within the first days after your wedding, so you have something beautiful to share while the memories are fresh. Your full, hand-edited gallery is then delivered in approximately 6–10 weeks. Every image is individually edited in our signature documentary style — we never cut corners on the part that lasts a lifetime.

  • How long do we have to be in Cyprus before the wedding?

You need to be in Cyprus for a minimum of one clear working day before your ceremony. In practice most couples arrive a few days early to settle in and meet their planner. If you are short on time, a Special Licence (which carries an extra fee) lets you marry within roughly three business days of applying. You apply to the local Marriage Officer at the town hall of the district where you are marrying.
