Jessica & Andy's Sun-Kissed Smoke Flare Liopetro Wedding in Kouklia

Loved up at Liopetro

"As we live in Cyprus, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to wedding venues," explains Jessica. "But Liopetro stole our hearts. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Everything about it was beautiful. The owners Makis and Ifinegnia made us feel so welcome and could not do enough to make our day absolutely perfect."

Finding the dress

"My dress was A-line, full lace with a café ivory underskirt to make the lace stand out. It had buttons from the middle of the back, running down the train of the dress. There was a satin belt with crystal detail."

The bridesmaids subtly echoed the look in dusty rose A-line chiffon designs, colour coordinated with the groomsmen's ties. For Andy, a stylish two-piece from Taylor and Wright was the order of the day, with a signature dusty rose tie.

Saying I do

The couple tied the knot in the glorious Cyprus sunshine beneath a flower-laden arch at Liopetro. "Saying 'I do' while gazing out over the Mediterranean Ocean and seeing Andy so emotional when I walked down the aisle were highlights of the day. It was perfect having all our closest family and friends watch us become husband and wife."

The colour of love

Jessica and Andy stepped out for some sizzling sunset portraits, as well as experimental and totally whimsical images with softly coloured smoke flares.

Party time

Liopetro has a fantastic reputation as a foodie Cyprus wedding venue and for Jessica and Andy's wedding, they hit all the right notes. First came a laid-back barbecue sizzling with flavour.

"It was full of fresh salads, traditional dips, a great variety of meats, whole fresh salmon, potatoes and not to mention the fantastic choice of desserts. We chose the BBQ menu as it had such great variety and it catered for all different dietary requirements our guests needed."

"Over dinner, I had such a lovely surprise. Andy and Aimie had arranged between themselves for Aimie to sing an acoustic set over dinner as a surprise for me. It was amazing. Our guests thought it was such a lovely touch."
