Limassol Wedding Photographer
Limassol is the most cosmopolitan corner of Cyprus, and it gives couples a rare kind of choice — a five-star seafront where the Mediterranean fills every frame, or the cool, vine-covered hills of the Krasochoria just twenty minutes inland. As your Limassol wedding photographer, that variety is exactly what we love. We are Nick and Aimie Wild, the husband-and-wife team behind Beziique, and across fifteen years and more than a thousand weddings we have learned how to photograph this city the way it deserves: warmly, honestly, and with an eye for the small moments that make your day yours.
Our approach is documentary at heart. We don't choreograph your wedding into a series of stiff poses; we follow it, anticipate it, and quietly capture the laughter, the tears and the unguarded glances as they happen. It's the style that earned us a place among the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World in 2018, and it's the style that suits Limassol perfectly — a city that is just as comfortable being glamorous as it is being relaxed. If you are weighing up where on the island to marry, our guide to getting married in Limassol is the ideal place to start.

Documentary wedding photography in Limassol
A documentary wedding photographer earns their keep in the in-between moments — the father reaching for a handkerchief during your vows, the bridesmaid fixing a curl that won't sit, the burst of applause as you turn to face your guests for the first time. In Limassol, those moments unfold against backdrops that range from marble resort lobbies to rustic winery courtyards, and we shoot them all the same way: unobtrusively, two of us working the room from different angles so nothing is missed.
Having Nick and Aimie there rather than a single photographer changes what we can deliver. While one of us is with you during the ceremony, the other is reading the front row, catching the reactions you'll never see yourself. During speeches, one covers the speaker and one covers the faces. It means your gallery tells the whole story of the day, not just the parts that happened in front of the lens. Aimie is also a professional wedding singer, so on the rare day a couple wants live music woven into the celebration, we can talk you through how that works too.
We photograph Limassol weddings of every shape — intimate elopements for two, relaxed family gatherings of thirty, and full three-hundred-guest celebrations that run from a hillside ceremony to a seafront party. Whatever yours looks like, our job is to hand it back to you exactly as it felt. Take a look through our portfolio to see how that plays out across real Cyprus weddings, and you'll get a feel for the consistency and warmth you can expect.

Limassol venues we love
Limassol's venues split neatly into two worlds, and both photograph beautifully. On the coast, the Royal Apollonia sits right on the Blue Flag beach of Amathus, with manicured gardens, an elegant terrace and direct access to the sand for sunset portraits — it's a polished, classic choice for couples who want the sea as a permanent backdrop. A little further along the bay, the Columbia Beach Resort at Pissouri offers something quieter and more architectural, with its village-square design, reflecting pools and a sweep of beach that turns gold in the late afternoon.
Inland, the Krasochoria wine villages are Limassol's best-kept secret. Hadjiantonas Winery, set in the foothills above the city, is one of our favourites — vineyards rolling away in every direction, a working cellar for characterful portraits, and a calm, green light that feels worlds away from the coast yet sits a short drive from your hotel. It's the venue we recommend to couples who want their photographs to feel rooted in the Cypriot landscape rather than the resort strip.
Because we have worked across so many of the area's venues, we can help you think through the practical side too — where the light falls at your chosen ceremony time, where the best portrait spots are, and how the timeline flows from one location to another. Whichever direction you lean, seafront or vineyard, we'll have shot somewhere like it before and we'll know exactly how to make it sing.

Seafront and vineyard weddings
The thing that defines a Limassol wedding photographically is contrast, and the light here is what makes it work. On the coast, the long Mediterranean sunsets give you a generous golden hour — soft, directional light that flatters everyone and turns the sea into a sheet of warm colour. We plan your portrait window around it, usually pulling you away for fifteen quiet minutes as the sun drops, so you get both a breather and your most romantic frames of the day.
Up in the wine country, the light behaves differently — cooler, greener, dappled through the vines — and it lends a more natural, painterly feel that suits couples drawn to texture and landscape over polish. The best months to plan around are May to June and September to October, when the temperatures are comfortable and the light is at its softest; in the heat of July and August we'll steer you towards a later ceremony so your day peaks as the sun mellows. Either way, the south coast's reliable weather means we very rarely lose a sunset to cloud.
What we love most about Limassol is that you don't have to choose just one mood. Many of our couples marry inland among the vines and then drive down to the seafront for a handful of evening portraits, giving their gallery real range — earthy and intimate in one chapter, sweeping and golden in the next. We're happy to build a relaxed schedule that makes both possible without your day ever feeling rushed.

Your investment
Couples often tell us they expected world-class destination photography to be out of reach, and are pleasantly surprised. A wedding in Cyprus is typically far more affordable than the equivalent at home, and that extends to capturing it well. Our collections are built around full-day, two-photographer coverage — Nick and Aimie together — rather than charging extra for the second shooter that, to us, is non-negotiable for telling the full story.
You can see exactly what's included, and the thinking behind how we price, on our investment page. Every collection comes with a hand-edited online gallery, sneak-peek images within days, and the option to add albums and prints once you've lived with your photographs for a while. There are no hidden travel fees within Cyprus, and we'll happily talk you through which collection fits the shape of your Limassol day.
When you're ready, the best next step is simply to get in touch. Tell us your date, your venue and a little about the day you're picturing, and we'll let you know we're free and send you everything you need. Limassol dates — especially the prime May, June, September and October weekends — book up well in advance, so reaching out early is always worth it.

How soon will we get our wedding photos?
You'll receive a set of sneak-peek images within the first days after your wedding, so you have something beautiful to share while the memories are fresh. Your full, hand-edited gallery is then delivered in approximately 6–10 weeks. Every image is individually edited in our signature documentary style — we never cut corners on the part that lasts a lifetime.
How far is Cyprus to fly from the UK?
Cyprus is roughly a 4.5-hour direct flight from the UK, with regular services into both Paphos (PFO) and Larnaca (LCA) airports. That short-haul distance is one of the reasons Cyprus is so popular for UK destination weddings — it's easy for guests of all ages to join you, with no long-haul jet lag.
When is the best time of year to get married in Cyprus?
The most popular months are May–June and September–October, when temperatures sit around a comfortable 20–26°C and the light is soft and golden — ideal for photography. July and August are the hottest (often 32°C and above), so we recommend later-afternoon and sunset ceremonies in high summer. The shoulder seasons give the best light, while winter is the cheapest and quietest time to marry in Cyprus if you want an intimate, low-cost celebration.
How much does a wedding in Cyprus cost compared with the UK?
A wedding in Cyprus is typically 30–50% cheaper than a comparable wedding in the UK, even once you factor in flights for you and your guests. Venues, catering, flowers and styling all tend to cost less, which means many couples get a more luxurious day for the same budget — or the same day for far less. Our cost guide breaks the numbers down in detail.
