2020 has seen staycations done in style. This year more than ever we've all felt the call to escape for some vitamin sea and brighter climes. Luckily for us as a Cyprus wedding photographer, beautiful coastal towns are our playground.
A staycation done in style
So when the iconic and sizzlingly luxurious Napa Suites invited us to stay for the night, how could we resist? In fact, we liked it so much we decided to stay two more.
This super-chic, contemporary hotel is a hotspot for honeymooners in buzzy Aiya Napa. Over several indulgent nights, we found out why first-hand.
Love at First Sight
After rolling into Aiya Napa, we headed straight for our new home for a few days at Napa Suites. First stop was the rooftop infinity pool — and oh my, the view did not disappoint. From your exclusive vantage point in the water, you can soak up the views of Aiya Napa and out to the ocean. And it just gets better at sundown.
Room with a View
Napa Suites is well known for attracting a glamorous crowd and is no stranger to celebrity clientele. From our experience, it shows: the staff are super bubbly, the service second-to-none and every single room is ultra stylish and spotlessly clean.
A brush of the bohemian and big dose of luxury make every single space feel distinctive and oh-so inviting within an ultra-modern shell. Think geometric accents, mirror finishes and a splash of colour to add a buzzy, party vibe.
Vitamin Sea
The impossibly clear, tantalisingly turquoise waters and pure white sands of Nisi Beach are just a hop away from the hotel at Napa Suites. This became our favourite lunchtime hangout during our trip and we'd recommend it to you too.
Our favourite haunt had to be the rooftop infinity pool. Pack plenty of bikinis, keep your camera handy and be ready to strike a pose — this is a place to be stylish and be seen. Lie back and feel kissed by the sun on incredibly comfortable loungers, or kick back in your own cabana for two.
Punctuate a laid-back afternoon with your favourite indulgences from the bar and Cypriot treats from the kitchen. With lounge areas on tap, there's a space for every mood at Napa Suites.
Raise a Glass
Aiya Napa is the home of an epic party, and while things might be different this year during covid-19, it still felt totally awesome at Napa Suites. The cocktails were out of this world amazing — best served chilled with a slice of that stunning roof terrace sunset. In normal times, you can expect one epic DJ set in the evenings too.
Napa Suites set the bar high when it comes to liquid indulgence, but it's a height the food more than matched. Covid-19 meant the usual laid-back buffet dining was on pause, so instead we enjoyed table service for dish after dish of truly epic flavour.
Let the Good Times Roll
Nothing could sum up our stay at Napa Suites better. We had a totally epic time soaking up the sun, lazing in the infinity pool and savouring cocktails like real connoisseurs. If a good time with a glamorous vibe sounds like your ticket, take it from us and set your sights on Napa Suites.
