A five-star Paphos wedding
The bride
Lucy got ready with her bridesmaids at the hotel. There was a lot of fun and laughter with these girls. She wore her blonde hair in a sophisticated updo, finished beautifully with a vintage crystal hairpiece to one side. Her bridesmaids wore very pale green dresses and carried bouquets of blue hydrangea that shone brightly. Lucy's wedding dress was stunning — a vintage-styled gown with beading and lace. A very beautiful bride indeed.
The groom
Peter got ready with his groomsmen at the hotel too. He looked simply handsome in his charcoal grey waistcoat and pale trousers. The lads were great fun and we knew this was going to be a fantastic wedding day. He greeted their guests in the bar and had a little drink to steady his nerves.
The venue — five-star luxury
The Elysium is a five-star hotel on the Paphos coast in Cyprus, with its own private beach. The ceremony was held at the amphitheatre within the stunning grounds — a lovely ceremony with tears and laughter. Rings and words of love were exchanged in a perfect "I do" moment. The venue was beautifully decorated for the reception later in the day.
After the ceremony
After the ceremony we took group shots of the bride and groom's family and friends, then took the couple for a more private shoot, just the two of them in the golden glow of a Cyprus afternoon. We love this part of the day so much.
It was then back to the venue for the wedding breakfast, party and music. The couple had Love Lights and the children loved dancing next to these. We closed the evening with the couple's first dance and then left them to enjoy the rest of their day together.
